Sedum Autumn Joy
Sedum ‘Autumn Joy’ (Hylotelephium ‘Herbstfreude’) is a popular perennial succulent known for its beautiful, long-lasting flowers and low-maintenance nature. It is a hybrid of Sedum telephium and Sedum spectabile, making it an excellent choice for drought-tolerant gardens.
Characteristics:

- Height & Spread: Grows about 18–24 inches (45–60 cm) tall and spreads 18–24 inches.
- Flowers: Large, flat clusters of pink flowers that mature into a deep coppery-red in late summer to autumn.
- Bloom Time: Late summer through Autumn.
- Sunlight Needs: Thrives in full sun (at least 6 hours daily).
- Soil Preference: Well-drained soil; tolerates poor, sandy, or rocky soil.
- Drought Tolerance: High; requires minimal watering once established.
