Lomandra confertifolia ‘Little Con’

Lomandra ‘Little Con’ is a compact, fine-leaved grass-like plant that delivers neat form, vibrant colour, and outstanding durability in tough conditions. A true low-maintenance performer, this tidy Australian native forms tight clumps of rich green, strappy foliage that provides texture and definition all year round.

Growing to approximately 30–40 cm high and wide, ‘Little Con’ is one of the smallest lomandra varieties, making it ideal for borders, edging, small garden beds, mass planting, or container use. It thrives in full sun to part shade and tolerates a wide range of soil types, including poor or dry soils.

This cultivar is particularly valued for its uniform shape and minimal maintenance needs—it requires little trimming and won’t develop the untidy look that some larger lomandras can over time. In spring, it may produce small, subtle flower spikes, but its main appeal lies in its compact foliage and reliable structure.
