Acacia Fettuccini

Acacia cognata Fettuccini PBR

Acacia cognata ‘Fettuccini’ PBR is a refined and compact form of the popular Australian native wattle, prized for its weeping, fine-textured foliage and sculptural appeal in contemporary landscapes.

This evergreen shrub features soft, ribbon-like lime green leaves that arch gracefully from the branches, giving it a cascading, flowing look — much like its namesake pasta. ‘Fettuccini’ typically grows to around 60–80 cm high and 1–1.2 m wide, forming a dense, low mound that suits mass planting, borders, or as a feature in low-maintenance gardens and pots.

Acacia cognata Fettuccini thrives in full sun to part shade and prefers well-drained soils. Once established, it is drought-tolerant and resilient, with minimal maintenance required aside from the occasional tidy-up prune. It performs best in temperate climates and is ideal for modern Australian gardens where texture and soft movement are desired.
